Doug Fleit is the Co-Founder and CEO of American Real Estate Partners (AREP) and PowerHouse Data Centers, with a distinguished career in commercial real estate spanning over four decades. Since 1981, Doug has helped deploy more than $12 billion in real estate investments nationwide, redefining development strategy and delivering transformative projects across key U.S. markets.

In 2003, Doug co-founded AREP with Brian Katz, creating a vertically integrated investment and development platform focused on office, residential, and data center assets. In 2021, the duo launched PowerHouse Data Centers. Currently, with over 139 data centers underway or in planning, representing well over 8.1 GW in ten major markets, PowerHouse has quickly established itself as a leading data center developer for the industry’s most important users.

Doug is known for his visionary leadership, relentless pursuit of excellence, and deep commitment to community impact through AREP’s CSR initiative, AREP Cares. He holds a B.S. in Psychology & Neurochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and is a frequent speaker and advisor on real estate strategy and innovation.
